Some renal patients at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital have yet to benefit from the government's six-month free dialysis program.
Despite the announcement, patients claim they are still being charged for dialysis sessions, as the hospital has not received a directive to implement the free service.
The hospital is addressing these challenges, while the NHIS's program aims to provide free dialysis support for renal patients from June to December 2024, targeting vulnerable groups and those aged 18 to 59.
