The Federation of Allied Health Professionals at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital is raising concerns about their lack of representation in top management, which they believe leads to their issues being overlooked.
Vice Chairman Edward Ayem highlighted that the hospital has been without a Computed Tomography (CT) scan for over five years, relying on a private machine instead.
He argues that having a representative from Allied Health Professionals in top management could ensure better attention to their needs and equipment replacement.
Ayem also noted that decisions affecting their department are often made without their input, underscoring the need for more inclusive management discussions.
