Korle Bu repairs elevator at surgical department

Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH) has repaired the faulty elevator in its surgical department, just hours after a visit from the Minority in Parliament, who questioned why the hospital and the Ministry of Health had not maintained it.

Following the visit, KBTH announced on Facebook that the elevator was fixed, and surgical services had resumed.

Previously, on August 26, the hospital had suspended elective surgeries and relocated emergency cases due to ongoing elevator issues at the surgical block.
