NDC spokesperson Prof. Titus Beyuo has criticized the government's Agenda 111 initiative for a "lack of transparency," noting that it's being managed from the Office of the President instead of the Ministry of Health.
He called for public access to project details like costs and contracts to ensure accountability.
In contrast, Presidential Advisor Dr. Anthony Nsiah-Asare confirmed that 100 hospitals are under construction, with 33 near completion, and promised updates on operational facilities soon, reaffirming the government’s commitment to enhancing healthcare access in Ghana.
