Korle Bu Teaching Hospital has assured that essential medical supplies for renal patients, currently stuck at the port, will be cleared soon.
The shortage has forced the hospital's renal unit to close for three weeks, prompting patients to threaten a protest on August 21.
Korle Bu's Public Relations Officer, Mustapha Salifu, stated that they are working with the Ministry of Health to resolve the issue quickly.
The hospital has apologized and asked for patients' patience, while the patients' spokesperson, Baffuor Kojo Ahenkorah, urged the hospital to fulfill its promise promptly.
