Attipoe to Officiate at Hockey 7th Asia Cup

World Hockey Umpire Richmond Attipoe has been appointed as a neutral umpire during the 7th Asia Cup scheduled for Chennai, India in September 2007.

The appointment is the first for Richmond in 2007 after enjoying a good year in 2006 when he was elevated to the World Hockey Promising Umpires’ List after two good performances in the European championships and South Africa Provincial championship.

Meanwhile, Ghana’s three World Hockey Umpires have stepped up their physical preparation in anticipation of any appointments to officiate in competitions. Two of the three will definitely be appointed for the African Olympic Qualifier scheduled for Nairobi, Kenya in July 2007.
