2017 Arrest: I was stripped naked by BNI officials – Nana Yaa Jantuah

Nana Yaa Jantuah, former Public Relations and External Affairs Director of the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC), has alleged humiliating treatment, including being stripped naked during her arrest by the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) on May 12, 2017.

She and Samuel Sarpong, PURC's Executive Secretary, were questioned about financial malfeasance but released on bail the next day.

Jantuah resigned following the incident.

In an interview, she recounted the traumatic experience and revealed ignored advice to Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia against her dismissal.

Jantuah sought divine guidance for forgiveness, reflecting on the ordeal's severe impact on her health and well-being.
