Ahmadiyya Amir urges EC to include PNC on election ballot

Maulvi Mohammed Bin Salih, the Amir of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission in Accra, has criticized the Electoral Commission (EC) for disqualifying PNC Presidential Candidate, Bernard Mornah.

He described Mornah as a patriotic leader and called on the EC to reconsider its decision.

Mornah, in turn, labeled his disqualification as unfair and accused the EC of shifting its reasons. He remains confident of winning his court case to be reinstated.

Former President John Mahama also condemned the EC’s actions, saying Mornah is more deserving of a spot on the ballot than some other approved candidates.
