Akufo-Addo conferred with GBA’s inaugural lifetime award

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has been honored with the Ghana Bar Association's (GBA) inaugural lifetime award at its 2024/2025 Annual Conference in Kumasi.

GBA President Yaw Acheampong Boafo highlighted Akufo-Addo’s long legal career, which began in 1975 when he was enrolled as a lawyer.

Akufo-Addo previously served as President of the Greater Accra Bar and was a member of the GBA’s General Council.

He became the first council member to be elected President of Ghana in 2017.

The GBA recognized him for his contributions to the legal profession and the nation.
