Akufo Addo to contest election 2020; 4 years not enough – Abronye DC

The Chairman of the newly created Bono Region says the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is likely to contest the 2020 presidential elections.

According to Abronye DC, the President is motivated to run again because of the passion he has for the job and also that four years will not be enough for him to execute all his plans for a better Ghana.

Abronye DC also believe the President is the right person to make the positive change become a reality and therefore lacing his boots to contest the 2020 elections.

He made this statement when he (Abronye DC) was making presentation of 24 motor bikes to all the 12 constituencies in the Bono region to climax his birthday celebration.

5th May, 2019 was the birthday of the affable chairman of the Bono region and also he made that presentation to all his 12 constituencies to help motivate and facilitate the work within the constituency to ensure that NPP and President Akuffo Addo maintain power in 2020 to continue the good work in transforming Ghana and the Bono Region.

Speaking to close section of the media after the presentation, Chairman Abronye DC said “it is important to empathize that, elections are won at the polling stations and constituency levels therefore, it is necessary and prudent to resource the party at the grassroots level to ensure power is maintained in 2020.”

"I can confirm that President Nana Addo is lacing his boot to contest election 2020 to continue his good work…we cannot allow NDC to come back and destroy the good work of NPP and Nana Addo,” he stressed.

He also noted that the outfit of the regional chairman is committed to resourcing the party at the various polling stations and the constituency levels for victory 2020.

He therefore urged the constituency executives to take good care of the bikes and use them for their intended purpose.
