Alleged NPP thugs attack NDC members in Sefwi Wiawso constituency

In the Sehwi Wiawso Constituency of the Western North Region, National Democratic Congress (NDC) members have been allegedly attacked by thugs believed to be affiliated with the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The assaults occurred both on the streets of Sefwi Boako and in victims' homes, where belongings were vandalized.

Victims reported being attacked with cutlasses and guns, directed by a known NPP member.

The violence reportedly followed criticism of the President of the Sehwi Wiawso Traditional Area, Katakyire Kwasi Bumagamah, who is the father of the NPP parliamentary candidate.

The incident has been reported to the police for investigation.
