Ambulance case: Ato Forson files for an order of mistrial

Minority Leader Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson has filed a supplementary affidavit in the ongoing ambulance case against him, citing a leaked tape allegedly showing Attorney-General Godfred Yeboah Dame coaching the third accused, Richard Jakpa, to implicate him.

Forson's legal team argued that the Attorney-General's conduct warrants a mistrial, as it undermines the rule of law and ethical prosecution standards.

The affidavit emphasized the necessity of presenting this new evidence to ensure a fair trial and maintain public confidence in the judicial process.

Forson's counsel intends to request the court to play the audio recording during the hearing.
