Amenfi Central: Sekondi High Court adjourns case on NDC PC’s eligibility to November 11

The Sekondi High Court, led by Justice Gyan-Kontor, has adjourned to November 11 the NDC’s application to lift an injunction affecting its Amenfi Central candidate, Joana Gyan Cudjoe.

The injunction prevents the Electoral Commission (EC) from recognizing her as the NDC’s official candidate, despite a previous court order confirming her candidacy.

In court, parties failed to reach an agreement on lifting the injunction, with Justice Gyan-Kontor advising them to resolve intra-party issues by Sunday.

Cudjoe, initially tense, relaxed and interacted with supporters after the court granted additional time.

The EC did not attend the hearing, but regional NDC executives showed support.
