Edem Senanu, Co-chair of the Citizens Movement Against Corruption, has downplayed the controversy surrounding former MP Moses Asaga's ownership of properties in Dubai, calling it "much ado about nothing."
This comes after the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) alleged that Asaga and other former Mahama administration officials acquired millions in Dubai real estate during their tenure.
Asaga dismissed the accusations, citing his long career and positions as justification.
Senanu supported Asaga, noting that a $133,000 property is not excessive given MPs' salaries and the cost of properties in Ghana, suggesting the controversy is unwarranted.
