Asante Bediatuo’s new role simply an International Messenger – Prof Ayesu

Professor Ebenezer Ayesu, a Governance Expert and Dean of Students at the Heritage Christian University College has clarified the controversy surrounding Nana Asante Bediatuo's appointment as an Ambassador at Large.

He explained that the role can be seen as an "International Messenger," different from an ambassador-in-residence limited to a specific country.

As an Ambassador at Large, Bediatuo may operate in several neighboring countries, a region, or hold a seat in international organizations like the United Nations.

Ayesu noted that Bediatuo will not receive an additional salary for this role and that it's not the first time such an appointment has been made.
