Ashanti Region: Involving students in Bawumia’s tour shameful – NDC slams Adutwum

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashanti Region has criticized the Education Minister and Ghana Education Service for allowing students to attend a political event during Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's tour.

The NDC urged parents to oppose their children’s involvement in political activities, citing that some Senior High School students were brought to a Youth Connect event at Kumasi Jubilee Park instead of staying in school.

The NDC accused the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of using students to boost Bawumia’s popularity and condemned the politicization of education. They also criticized Dr. Bawumia for neglecting promises to reconstruct the Kejetia Market.
