Bawumia at par with Mahama in terms of first-time voters’ support – Global InfoAnalytics

A recent poll by Global InfoAnalytics shows significant support for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party’s flagbearer for the 2024 election, among first-time voters.

This trend highlights a shift in voter sentiment, especially among the younger demographic.

The survey, sampling over 7,000 respondents, indicates that many young people see Dr. Bawumia as the most suitable candidate to lead Ghana. His nationwide campaign tour has boosted his popularity and reinvigorated the party.

The poll suggests that first-time voters will be crucial in the December elections, with Bawumia now at par with Mahama, each having 44% support among these voters.
