The Minority in Parliament has criticized NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for his promise to limit ministerial appointments to 50 if elected president.
Deputy Minority Whip Ahmed Ibrahim questioned the sincerity of this pledge, noting that the number of officials in Dr. Bawumia's office already surpasses the ministers appointed by the current government.
Ibrahim also criticized the NPP manifesto for not addressing how the party plans to handle Ghana's debt servicing, arguing that this omission shows a lack of transparency and foresight.
