Bawumia will only join IEA presidential debate only if Mahama participates – Miracles

Dennis Miracles Aboagye, spokesperson for Dr. Bawumia’s 2024 campaign, has stated that Dr. Bawumia will only join the upcoming presidential debate by the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) if former President John Dramani Mahama is also present.

The IEA announced two presidential debates for October 22 and November 19, 2024, alongside a vice-presidential debate on November 5.

Aboagye, in an interview, emphasized that while Dr. Bawumia is eager for a meaningful debate on national issues, Mahama’s participation is essential to ensure a balanced and comprehensive discussion, as the December election is primarily between the two.
