Reacting to his victory and Ben Ephson’ s prediction in an exclusive interview with GhanaWeb after EC’s final declaration, June 20, 2020, Buaben Asamoa said; “I feel happy, exuberant…whenever Ben predicts a loss for me I win. So I want him to keep predicting that I’ll lose because that way I’ll win.”
Yaw Buaben Asamoa who had already predicted his victory in the early hours of the day (election day) did not leave disappointed as delegates handed him a massive win.
Out of the 744 valid votes cast, Buaben Asamoa managed to pool 423 with his fierce competitor amassing 217. Zack Rahman also had 87 votes, Alfred Kumi got 10 votes and Freda Sarpong managed to gather only 7 votes. Three votes were rejected.
