The Bank of Ghana has responded to the Bawku Central MP's requests for information on its 2023 financial statement and headquarters costs.
The MP had raised concerns about the bank's losses and increasing costs, citing the Right to Information Act.
The Bank of Ghana assured the MP that his requests are being attended to and that he will receive the requested information soon.
The bank reported a loss of GH₵10.5 billion in 2023, mainly due to increased interest expenses.
The MP also requested information on write-offs, policy rates, and construction costs.
