The Coalition of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and OccupyGhana have criticized the anti-corruption measures proposed by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in their manifestos for the upcoming December 7 elections.
The CSOs expressed concern over the delayed passage of the Conduct of Public Officers Bill (CoPO), which they believe reflects a lack of commitment from both parties to tackle corruption.
They noted that while the NPP and NDC made promises to address corruption, their manifestos suggest a lack of urgency.
The CSOs urged Ghanaians to demand genuine action against corruption, emphasizing the importance of passing the CoPO Bill to improve public sector integrity.
