Credit me for Free SHS, don’t claim policy – Akufo-Addo tells Mahama

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has urged NDC flagbearer John Mahama to acknowledge Akufo-Addo's role in implementing the Free SHS policy, rather than claiming credit for it.

Akufo-Addo recounted that Mahama criticized the initiative when it was first proposed, yet now attempts to claim its success.

Responding to Mahama's assertion that his government initiated Free SHS in 2015, Akufo-Addo pointed out the contradiction and emphasized that if Mahama now sees the policy's value, he should recognize Akufo-Addo’s contribution.
