Deputy Housing Minister unveils vision for urbanization and smart cities

Deputy Minister for Works and Housing, Dr. Prince Hamid Armah has emphasized on the importance of urbanization and smart cities in achieving sustainable development at the Ghana Industrialisation Week.

He highlighted the government's commitment to inclusive and sustainable industrialization, noting that 58% of Ghana's population now lives in urban areas.

Dr. Armah advocated for smart cities, utilizing technology and innovation to enhance residents' quality of life and promote sustainability.

He also stressed technological innovation, inclusivity, and public-private partnerships to achieve sustainable development goals.
