Don’t confer honorary doctorate degree on ‘undeserving Akufo-Addo’ – NDC Youth

The Volta Regional Youth Wing of the NDC has strongly opposed the University of Health and Allied Sciences' (UHAS) plan to confer an honorary doctorate on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, deeming it unmerited.

They urged the Vice Chancellor to withdraw the honor, threatening protests if their demands are ignored.

They criticized the President's policies, claiming they have harmed the region, and disputed UHAS’s assertion that the current administration secured funding for the China Phase II project, crediting instead the Mills-Mahama administration for establishing and funding the university’s initial development.
