Don’t surrender your Ghana Card to any security personnel – Mahama to Aflao residents

John Dramani Mahama, NDC’s flagbearer, has urged Aflao residents to resist any attempts by security personnel to seize their Ghana Cards.

Following reports of Ghana Immigration Service officers confiscating the cards at the border, Mahama emphasized that only the National Identification Authority has the authority to withdraw a card.

He stressed that no individual or official, including immigration or police, has the right to take a Ghana Card without proper legal procedure.

Mahama’s call aims to protect citizens from alleged intimidation and uphold their identification rights.
