The Movement for Change has joined calls for a forensic audit of the 2024 provisional voters' register, adding pressure on the Electoral Commission (EC) to ensure its credibility.
This follows increasing demands from political groups, especially the opposition NDC, which claims the register is fraught with errors and illegalities.
Nana Ohene Ntow, Director of Elections for the Movement for Change, emphasized the need for an independent audit to restore public trust and called for the EC to engage with stakeholders to address concerns collaboratively.
He believes that transparency will enhance confidence in Ghana's electoral system ahead of the 2024 elections.
