EC afraid of releasing final voter’s register to us – Omane Boamah alleges

Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, Director of Elections and IT for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has accused the Electoral Commission (EC) of withholding the final voter register from the party out of fear.

He believes the EC is concerned about potential discrepancies the NDC may uncover.

Speaking during a meeting with civil society groups on September 23, Dr. Boamah criticized the EC’s lack of transparency, stating that the delay raises doubts about the fairness of the upcoming elections.

He emphasized that access to the voter register is a legal right and crucial for ensuring credible elections.
