EC provides guidelines for replacement of Voter ID Cards

The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced that the replacement of Voter ID Cards will start on Thursday, May 30, and continue through Friday, June 14, 2024.

This service is for individuals who have lost their Voter ID Cards ahead of the December 7 general elections.

The EC's statement on May 28 directed voters to pay a GH¢10 replacement fee using the shortcode 2221067#.

Applicants must provide the reference code received after payment to the District Officer to facilitate the replacement process.
