Election 2024: Bawumia/NAPO ticket a win for NPP – Akufo-Addo

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has endorsed Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, expressing strong confidence in their ability to secure victory for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2024 general elections.

The endorsement came after the NPP National Council officially confirmed Dr. Opoku Prempeh, known as Napo, as Bawumia's running mate on July 4.

President Akufo-Addo praised the duo as an "excellent pairing," confident they will lead the party to a decisive win.

He remarked, "The NPP has an excellent ticket, and we’re going to win with this ticket on December 7, 2024."
