Election 2024: Bawumia can’t be trusted to fight corruption – NDC

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has launched a fierce criticism of New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, accusing him of being untrustworthy and deeply involved in corruption.

At a press briefing on August 7, 2024, NDC's National Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi, urged Ghanaians to reject Bawumia in the upcoming elections, labeling him as a "chronic liar" and a key player in the current government's corruption.

Gyamfi emphasized that a vote for Bawumia would shield corrupt activities, whereas voting for NDC’s John Dramani Mahama would ensure accountability and fight corruption.
