Election 2024: Be fair in discharging your duties – Asutifi NDC warns police

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) executives in Asutifi South Constituency have urged the police to ensure fairness and impartiality in their duties ahead of the 2024 general elections.

This followed an incident where an NPP member allegedly fired a warning shot during a voters' transfer exercise, with no subsequent police action.

The NDC Constituency Communications Officer, Asafo Agyei Baffour, warned that perceived police bias towards the NPP could provoke resistance from the NDC, and called on the Inspector General of Police to ensure prompt and impartial action to maintain peace and electoral integrity.
