Election 2024: Conduct a forensic audit of voter register – Alan to EC

Alan Kyerematen, leader of the Movement for Change (M4C), has supported calls for the Electoral Commission (EC) to conduct a forensic audit of the voter register ahead of the 2024 elections.

He proposed forming a Technical Working Group (TWG), chaired by the EC, to oversee the audit from September 30 to October 11.

The TWG would include candidates’ representatives and EC data consultants to review documents such as the 2020 voter register, recent voter transfers, and special voters' lists.

Kyerematen emphasized that this collaborative audit would ensure transparency and help deliver credible elections on December 7, 2024.
