Election 2024: Don’t vote based on religion – Ampratwum-Sarpong tells Ghanaians

Kwaku Ampratwum-Sarpong, MP for Mampong and Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister, has urged Ghanaians not to let religion influence their voting decisions in the upcoming December 7 elections.

Speaking during a campaign event for NPP running mate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, he called on Christians to disregard any attempts to use Bawumia’s Muslim faith as a reason for opposition.

Ampratwum-Sarpong emphasized the importance of interfaith harmony in Ghana and highlighted Bawumia’s previous Christian background to reinforce his appeal for voters to prioritize candidates' abilities and vision over religious affiliations.
