Election 2024: EC lied just to disqualify us – Apea-Danquah

Samuel Apea-Danquah, leader of the Yellow Ghana movement, is disputing the Electoral Commission’s (EC) decision to disqualify him and 10 other candidates from the December 7 presidential election.

Apea-Danquah claims he submitted his running mate’s tax clearance certificate both in person and via WhatsApp, accusing the EC of lying about the disqualification.

He expressed frustration over the decision, calling it disrespectful, and plans to challenge it in court.

Other disqualified candidates include Bernard Mornah, Janet Nabla, and Kofi Asamoah Siaw.
