Voters in Sunyani, the Bono Regional capital, are condemning the rising trend of monetization in Ghana's General Elections.
They expressed disappointment that some political parties and politicians are bribing voters with money and gifts.
In interviews with the Ghana News Agency, residents called for collective action to combat this practice, which undermines electoral laws and damages democracy.
They noted that vote-buying contributes to corruption and hinders national development. Voters urged political parties to avoid abusive language and promote tolerance among opponents to prevent political tensions.
