National Chief Imam Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu has urged politicians and stakeholders in the upcoming December 7 elections to prioritize peace.
Speaking to Muslim youth in Accra, he emphasized the need for political leaders to use respectful language to avoid inciting unrest.
The Chief Imam highlighted that ensuring peaceful elections is a collective responsibility involving not just the Electoral Commission (EC), but also political parties and their supporters.
He called for transparency from the EC and urged all parties to exercise caution in their rhetoric to foster a peaceful electoral atmosphere.
