Election 2024: NPP’s 500,000 votes target in Volta region is “wishful thinking” – NDC

Kafui Sorkpa Agbleze, Volta Regional Communications Director for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has dismissed the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) goal of securing 300,000–500,000 votes in the Volta Region as unrealistic.

Responding to NPP Communications Director Richard Ahiagba’s announcement, Agbleze highlighted that the region has 1,023,147 registered voters and noted that in previous elections, the NPP achieved only 10.81% in 2016 and 14.14% in 2020.

He argued that Voltarians have suffered due to the NPP’s economic policies and called on the public to reject what he described as "empty promises and propaganda."
