Election 2024: We have nothing in common – PNP tells PNC

Janet Nabla, founder of the People’s National Party (PNP), has denied allegations of appropriating the People’s National Convention's (PNC) ideologies and principles.

She asserted that the PNP is distinct from the PNC and has no interest in poaching its members or misleading voters.

The PNC has requested the Electoral Commission to withhold the PNP’s registration, citing potential voter confusion due to name similarities.

Nabla refuted these claims in an interview, urging PNC leader Mr. Apasera to focus on his party. She emphasized that the PNP seeks members who value truth, transparency, and integrity.
