Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has announced a plan to reduce public transportation costs by at least 40% before the December elections through the introduction of electric vehicles.
Speaking at the Ofie Mega Walk in Akropong, he revealed that the country will transition from diesel, gas, and petrol to electric vehicles for public transport.
Dr. Bawumia assured that all estimates are complete, and the electric vehicles, including one-wheelers, two-wheelers, and three-wheelers, will arrive before the elections, enabling significant cost reduction.
