The Electoral Commission (EC) has explained that delays in printing the Notice of Poll for the December 7 elections are due to errors in name spellings and political party symbols.

The printing is set to begin on October 11, 2024, but ballot paper printing will only start after the EC provides necessary voter statistics.

The NDC’s Deputy Director of Elections, Dr. Rashid Tanko Computer, clarified that the party has no issues with the notices, but raised concerns about printing ballot papers without proper documentation.

Disqualified aspirant Sam Korankye criticized the EC, warning of possible legal action.
