Gary Nimako, the Director of Legal Affairs for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has addressed the recent disqualification of eleven presidential aspirants, stressing the importance of adhering to the Electoral Commission (EC) guidelines.
Speaking on Newsfile on September 28, he emphasized that all political processes must comply with established rules to ensure a fair electoral system.
While acknowledging concerns from disqualified candidates, he urged aspirants to focus on meeting the necessary standards rather than challenging the EC's decisions.
Nimako expressed disappointment that candidates did not accurately complete their applications and expressed hope for a judicial resolution, as some disqualified aspirants have filed lawsuits against the Commission.
