John Mahama, NDC flagbearer has urged the Electoral Commission (EC) to extend the upcoming voter registration exercise to hard-to-reach areas.
The EC plans to conduct a mop-up exercise from August 1-3, 2024. Mahama believed this will prevent voter suppression and enable eligible Ghanaians to register.
He argued that limiting registration to district offices may discourage some potential voters.
Mahama assured his supporters that any obstacles to voting will not deter his ultimate victory, which will be a victory for all Ghanaians.
He urged the EC to extend the registration exercise to all hard-to-reach areas.
