MP for Yapei-Kusawgu, John Jinapor, has urged Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to address rising fuel prices and fulfill his duties as head of the Economic Management Team.
With petrol prices surpassing 15 cedis, Jinapor highlighted the negative impact on inflation, productivity, and the cost of living.
He criticized the government's handling of the exchange rate and called for a focus on economic stabilization rather than debates.
Despite Bawumia's challenge to former President John Mahama for a debate, Mahama's spokesperson, Joyce Bawah Mogtari, deemed it unnecessary due to the evident economic crisis.
