Fomena NPP executives smoke peace pipe after Napo’s intervention

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, NPP's Vice Presidential candidate, successfully mediated a four-year feud between two factions in the Fomena Constituency, Ashanti Region.

The dispute had led to the closure of the NPP office.

During his campaign for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Dr. Prempeh urged both sides to reconcile for the party's success.

He supported the party's decision to select Andrew Asiamah, the current independent MP, as the NPP candidate for the 2024 elections.

Both factions agreed to unite, with the former chairman handing over the office keys, pledging to work together for NPP's victory.
