Free SHS being implemented with a lazy approach – Nana Yaa Jantuah

Nana Yaa Akyempim Jantuah, General Secretary of the Convention People's Party (CPP), has criticized the government's implementation of the Free Senior High School (SHS) program.

She argued that there is no data to target the program effectively, leading to significant debt and potential exam postponement due to financial constraints.

Jantuah has advocated for a review of the policy, suggesting it should be targeted towards those who need it most.

She also linked exam malpractice to a decline in education quality, citing inadequate teacher-student interaction and excessive time spent at home.
