Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has acknowledged that while Ghanaians are still facing challenges, their situation has significantly improved since the tenure of former President John Mahama.
Speaking at a media engagement on August 25, Dr. Bawumia pointed to economic growth, increased per capita income, job creation, and social interventions as evidence of this progress.
He emphasized that although suffering persists, the government's efforts have alleviated many hardships, including job creation, maintaining public sector employment, and restoring allowances for nursing and teacher trainees.
