Gomoa East Assembly supports Mampong flood victims

The Gomoa East District Assembly and Nag Fairmount Construction Company have provided relief items to flood victims in Gomoa Mampong, Central region.

Over 150 houses were submerged after a contractor's diversion of the Ayensu River caused flooding.

Victims received mattresses, blankets, rice, cooking oil, mosquito nets, and coils.

The Assembly is also supporting affected farmers, while Nag Fairmount will provide cement and roofing sheets to those whose houses collapsed.

Beneficiaries expressed gratitude but requested additional assistance.
