The Minority in Parliament has accused the government of inflating the cost of 307 ambulances procured in 2019.

They claim the total should have been $25 million at $80,000 per unit, but Ghana paid $54.3 million.

Chairman Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa referenced the Auditor General’s 2022 audit to highlight the alleged overpayment.
