Govt to acquire additional dialysis machines – NHIA CEO

The National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) is collaborating with the government to provide dialysis machines to public hospitals for kidney treatment.

The NHIA's CEO, Dr. Aboagye DaCosta, announced the initiative, which aims to provide basic healthcare for all.

The program has began at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, with plans to expand to other facilities.

The government has a sustainability plan in place, including providing dialysis machines and support for renal patients nationwide.
